Being the National Director of All Dance Portugal has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Since the beginning of this project, I have been moved by the passion, talent, and determination of everyone involved – dancers, choreographers, schools, and families. Each competition reminds me of the transformative impact that dance has on our lives and our community. It is much more than movement; it is a universal language that brings people together and builds bridges between cultures.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing incredible stories. Young people who found in dance a way to overcome personal challenges, schools that came together to raise the national artistic level, and groups that showcased Portuguese talent to the world. These moments fill me with pride and reinforce the certainty that we are on the right path. All Dance Portugal has become a platform of opportunities, a space where dreams come true and where everyone can showcase the best of themselves. Every competition organized by All Dance Portugal is more than just an event; it is a celebration of art, effort, and dedication. Seeing the stages come alive with such exciting performances is indescribable. The energy we feel, the applause that echoes, and the tears of joy at the end of each performance are proof of the impact we are creating. It is impossible not to be moved when witnessing the results of the hard work of so many people.

As a director, I have also had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. Working with such a dedicated team and seeing the trust that schools and dancers place in All Dance Portugal is a tremendous responsibility, but it is also a daily source of motivation. Every challenge we face strengthens us and prepares us to go even further. This role has taught me the true meaning of collaborative leadership and the power of the collective.

I firmly believe that the future of dance in Portugal is bright, and All Dance Portugal has been a fundamental pillar in building that future. We will continue working to give our artists the recognition they deserve, taking Portuguese dance to international stages and showing the world the extraordinary talent we have.
