Yamilet Lozano, a graduate in education with teacher training for the arts, has been a dancer for more than 25 years in different styles, within her career she has gone through traditional dances, Latin dances and urban dances, and methodologist in training processes in Urban dance.
She has participated in international events such as: BATTLEING IN PEACE 2014
AND BIENNIAL OF DANCE- “RIZOMA” – SPANISH-ISRAELI COMPANY: SHARON FRIDMAN 2013. Yamilet Lozano has been the recipient of several awards and distinctions, including the WOMAN AWARD OF VALLECAUCANA 2020 – RECOGNITION.
In her training process, she has taken countless workshops with great dance exponents, including: Tyce Diorio, Cindya Cristina Gil-davis, Ashlie Dawson, among others.
Nationally and internationally recognized for her work to rebuild the social fabric through dance, with high-risk populations in her social action projects “Remember me” and “time for activ-art”, with more than 750 children and youth benefited in the Llano Verde sector. Her teaching work is focused on the formation of balanced dancers in their being and their work, promoting technique and conscious movement.
