Juan Camilo Maldonado is an artist and businessman who for 27 years has been dedicated to art as a life option, being a dancer, choreographer, teacher, cultural manager, artistic director and producer, focused on the development of projects of Integral formation of the being, leadership and entrepreneurship, business advice, the creation of shows and the connection of audiences. Winner of the Referentes en Arte y Cultura de la Ciudad de Medellín 2019 award.

Graduated in Folk Dance from the Popular School of Art (EPA) of Medellín, Diploma in Contemporary Dance from the same institution and Diploma in Stage Design with emphasis on Sound from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, ASAB Faculty of Arts. Ministry of Culture of Colombia. Bogota He has received training in Classical, Modern, Contemporary Dance, Tango, Tap, Flamenco and Ballroom Dances with important teachers from different countries and in Institutions such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Contemporary Dance of Cuba, Ballet de Cuba and Steps On Broadway, among others.
He was a dancer in the Canchimalos Cultural Corporation of Medellín (1992 – 1996), Ballet Folclórico de Antioquia (1996 – 2004), Compañía Vialibre Danza de Medellín (2003 – 2008), Compañía A Puro Tango (2018 – 2020).
